Bangladesh plans to install 60 dialysis machines at divisional medical college hospitals within six months, Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Husain said on Thursday, according to the state news agency BSS.

He made the announcement at a Dhaka event where the Health Services Division’s Health Economics Unit presented findings from a study on establishing a National Health Protection Authority, BSS reported.

The statement sets out a plan, not completed installations. BSS did not identify the hospitals, give a procurement timetable or say how the rollout would be funded.
